The Sinking Ship

The Sinking Ship – serving the best vegan food, craft beer, and cocktails in South Broad Ripple, Indianapolis. Featuring dedicated televisions for pro wrestling, 11 pinball machines the NHL Center Ice package, PBR bingo and Trivia Obscura.

The Sinking Ship and Rocketship go as far back as possible. The Sinking Ship is where Rocketship began in 2011. This stage saw so many legendary comics in it’s short time such as Kyle Kinane, Doug Stanhope, and more. The stage may have ceased, but The Sinking Ship has continued to be a vital part of the comedy community. Every great show is celebrated here, and every horrible bomb is eased over with drinks and country mac here.

The Sinking Ship will be hosting our large after party on Sunday after the Andy Kindler show, as well as be the go to after spot every night of the festival. Come to a show, and then come meet some our comics at The Sinking Ship.


State Street Pub

State Street Pub has bloomed into one of the best venues in town in just a few short years. Cheap beer, an awesome rotating food menu, and the perfect stage for any kind of show. They’ve even got a skateboarding trivia night and green screen karaoke to top it all off. A must see for any and all who loves loud music and an awesome bar staff.

This is where Rocketship has had it’s monthly comedy variety show Go Yuck Yourself for the last two years. This stage has seen comics who have been on Adult Swim, Conan, Colbert, and much more.


Flat 12 Bierworks

Established in 2010, Flat12 is a regional brewer of uncommonly distinct craft beer.

Rocketship has had some historical shows in this brewery for many years. It’s become such a vital part of the Indianapolis comedy scene.

They will be hosting Stand Up For Shells on Thursday, April 25th for Yuck Fest. A zoo fundraiser for the turtle conservation. $1 of each beer sales goes to the cause. They will also be hosting a stand up showcase on Friday, April 26th at 8PM with a line up of comics in from all over the US.


Musical Family Tree

By serving Indiana’s music communities, MFT aims to help build a more sustainable and world-recognized music scene in Indiana.

They accomplish this by preserving, documenting, and promoting Indiana music, past and present.

This includes activities like their digital archive, quality blog content, curated shows, videos, physical releases, exclusive recording projects, print zine, and more.

They also provide resources to Indiana’s underserved musicians, like paying gigs, all ages shows, sponsored tours, and promotional content to share with their fans.
